The Golte ridge, more than 5 km long, lies at an altitude of over 1,500 m, stretches from northeast to southwest and lies on the eastern edge of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. At Golte it is possible to start in all wind directions, but the most suitable winds are from the south and east. Attention must be paid to the southwest wind, which can be quite gusty in these places. Most flights from Golte are made to the west, flying to Kamniško Savinjske (Raduha, Grintovec) or even to the Karavanke (Stol) and back, but if we decide to fly in one direction, it is also possible to fly to Julijci and to the highest peak in Slovenia Triglav.
Tandem parachute jump: the bravest are taken to the top of the Golte Landscape Park, the Medvedjak take-off point, from where you fly in tandem with an experienced professional and enjoy the incredible views that reach far away. In a panoramic flight, you will create a 1,200 m altitude difference, and it takes up to 30 minutes. The length of the flight depends on the weather conditions!
