In the settlement of Polzela is the only castle renovated by the Maltese Knights in Slovenia. In the castle one finds the following points of interest: the Romanesque tower (the oldest building in the settlement of Polzela), a wedding reception hall in the restored Gothic hall, the oldest horizontal hops drying plant in Slovenia, as well as an exhibition of the artefacts related to the Maltese Knights. You can also taste exellent wines in its wine cellar.
